December 2024 Beaufort Fishing Report

Capt. Jon and Capt. Rob are back this month with another Low Country fishing report! November was a great month for fishing with a good bit of variety in fish species and fish behaviors.

We started out the month with some great flood tide fishing looking for tailing redfish in the grass. As the month went on and the cold fronts began to move in, we started to focus our time mostly on the lower parts of the tide outside the flood tide.

Fish have got progressively happier around lower water levels as the month has gone on, and we expect that to be the case for most all of December too!

The water Is starting to clear up and the fish are beginning to get In to their schools. As the water starts to clear up, I typically start to move to more natural colors for my flies and my lure selection. As It gets colder, I will size down as well, but we are not quite to that point yet.

Enjoy the video, and as always, thanks for watching and following along!
